CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
These conditions set out the basis on which you can visit and use our website.
Please read them carefully as they contain important information.
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
1.
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of reimbursement.
2. In the case of a sales contract on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

4. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods; whichever is earliest
5. (a) You shall send back goods or hand them over to us without overdue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
(b) You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods.
(c) You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

COURSES
Make Up Academy warrants to the Client that the Courses will be provided using reasonable care and skill. All other warranties whether express or implied are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All copyright and other intellectual property in the Courses and any course materials shall at all times belong to Make Up London Academy
Make Up Academy reserves the right to cancel and/or amend Course dates, times, every effort will be made to give the Client as much notice as possible and to offer a reasonable alternative. If the alternative is not satisfactory to the Client, Make Up Academy shall offer a refund of any sums paid by the Client, in full and such refund shall be the sole remedy of the Client.
Any materials (including without limitation, make-up kits) are the responsibility of the Attendee from the time of handover to the Attendee. Any replacements will be charged to the Attendee and in its discretion, Make Up Academy may insist upon payment for such materials prior to replacement. Attendees should notify Make Up Academy if they feel any allergic reaction to any of the make-up immediately.
Make Up Academy reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove from the Course any Attendee who is disruptive to other attendees, breaches health and safety guidelines or endangers themselves or others, if they arrive excessively late or miss any part of the course. Where an Attendee is asked to leave the course for the above reasons no refund will be given.
Where notice to cancel a three hours masterclass class by the client is given at any less time than 72 hours, Makeup London Academy will charge a fee of £9 as part of the extension policy.
Where notice to cancel a three hours masterclass class by the client is given within 24 hours of the course, Makeup London Academy will charge a fee of £14 as part of the extension policy.
When a group of more than 2 clients give notice to cancel a three hours masterclass less than 7 days before the start date of the course, Makeup London Academy reserves the right to retain or charge the full course price with no refund or rescheduling.
Where the deposit is retained by Make Up Academy under these terms, the client shall be entitled to transfer the deposit to another course within 1 month of written notice of cancellation of the previous course. The client may only transfer the ceposit once.
Nothing in this clause affects the statutory right of cancellation of a consumer or any other statutory rights of a consumer.
Make Up London Academy reserves the right to alter course dates, venues and times without liability.
Make Up London Academy is not able to offer refunds for cancellations outside our control, including adverse weather conditions, flooding or industrial actions or illness.
In order to respond quickly to changes in the market demands reserves the right to alter its course content and/or trainers.
Make Up London Academy reserves the right to cancel your booking (treatment, service or classes) with 48 hours prior to client’s booking without liability.
Make Up London Academy has the right to move or cancel clients bookings on the same date of the booking in case or emergencies, tutors or consultants casualties, venue / building work or in case of fire, death, criminal crime happening in the premises without liability.
The successful provision of professional certified courses depends upon the fees students pay. Courses can only be started if the income for the course is sufficient to cover all the costs involved.
Make up London Academy therefore cannot refund course fees except in the following circumstances:-
The course is cancelled before it starts or is closed by the Make Up London Academy and no suitable alternative is available.
The student withdraws 7 days before the start date of the course, however there will be an administration fee of £30 charged.
No refund is due if student has completed 50% or more of any of the courses (This includes promotional courses).
To request a refund please email MLA Customer Service team on info@makeuplondonacademy.com, for assistance please call 0207 2729848 to speak to an advisor. If the student withdraws from their course for any reason other than those stated above, any outstanding instalment payments will be collected by the Make up London Academy.
CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in these terms affects the client’s statutory rights as a consumer. If the client is contracting as a consumer, it may cancel a contract at any time within seven working days; beginning on the day after it receives the order confirmation. In this case, the client will receive a full refund of the price paid for the courses (including any deposit paid). To cancel a contract, the client must inform Make Up London Academy by calling 0207 272 9848 or in writing details of the client’s statutory right of cancellation as a consumer, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are provided in the order confirmation.
